Beans French and runner went in today as well as globe and Jerusalem artichoke :)
Been up the allotment today. All seems well. The peas have shot up in the last couple of days. My new hoe is great. Earthed up the spuds a bit more and got rid of a few weeds.
I also put up three wigwam type canes for my French and runner beans to grow up. The plants are still growing well. I’ll put them out this weekend I think.
Carrots are doing well. I was worried they wouldn’t take but they seem to have

:) Got my free seeds from the BBC website today. Carrot. Mixed salad crops. French beans. Courgette I’m 43 and got a tad excited when I saw them on the mat lol
